Access Answers

How do I enroll in courses?
Everything you need to take your training is right here. Follows these steps:

  1. Choose your training from the Course Catalog
  2. Click the Add to Cart button to add the course to your Shopping Cart
    • Your Shopping Cart will be automatically displayed
    • You have the option to Checkout or Continue Shopping
  3. If you've finished shopping, click the Checkout button
    • If you have not set up an account, do so now
    • If you already have an account, log in now if you have not already done so
  4. Complete the transaction using your Visa, MasterCard, AMEX or Discover Card
    • Upon completion of the transaction, you will be automatically enrolled in your courses
  5. Click on My Courses to access your training
    • You must be logged in to access your courses

I enrolled. Now how do I get to my courses?

  1. Login using the Login button.
  2. Click My Courses on the menu
  3. Click the Launch Course button next to the course(s)

Payment Methods
You may pay in US funds by MasterCard, Visa, American Express, or Discover Card at time of enrollment. Like many other ecommerce sites, we do not invoice for payment.

Receipts
Once you purchase program, you will receive a receipt. It will be emailed to the email address you used to enroll.

Multiple Purchases
We are happy to help you purchase multiple enrollments. Here is what to do:

  1. Pick the courses you want.
  2. Email the list, including how many enrollments want of each program.
  3. Please include the email addresses of each participant on your team.
  4. Please provide a telephone number where you can be reached and best time to contact you.
  5. Payment will be arranged over the phone by credit card.

Enrollment & Completion Answers

How long do I have to finish?
Each course is designed to take an average learner one hour to finish. You may begin taking your course immediately after enrolling.

You have up to 90 days from date of enrollment to complete your programs.

What if I don't finish my course in 90 days?
If you are unable to successfully complete your course within 90 days, contact our customer service team by emailing support@jensenhughesacademy.com or calling 800-930-9414 option 1 and request an extension. Our support team is available from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST. There is no additional charge for extensions.


Can more people take it with me?
Our programs are designed for individual participants.


Are there quizzes or tests?
Each module has a question and answer review. At the end of the series, you will complete an assessment quiz. The passing score for a quiz is 80.


Does the quiz cost extra?
There is no additional charge for the quiz.

What happens if I don't pass the quiz?
The passing score for a quiz is 80. If you don't pass the quiz, you get one retake. If you do not pass a retake, please re-enroll in the program. You may contact our customer service team by emailing support@jensenhughesacademy.com or calling 800-930-9414 option 1 and request a re-enrollment. Our support team is available from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST. In most cases, there is no additional charge for re-enrollment.


What handouts will I receive?
The programs are designed to provide all of the information you require without requiring in additional materials. You can return to review your courses after you complete a course for up to one year from the time of purchase.

Many of the courses are about fire and building codes. While it is not necessary to have the relevant code book(s) handy while taking a course, many people find it helpful to have it available for additional reference.

Do I get a Certificate of Completion?
Yes, and you can print it directly from your My Courses page. After completing a course, its Certificate of Completion will be available under the Certificates tab on your My Courses page.

A list of the courses you've successfully completed appears under the Certificates tab. Click the Open button next to the course to view your Certificate of Completion. You may save and print the Certificate of Completion.

CEU Answers

What are CEUs?
CEU's are Continuing Education Units, which are important to people with professional licenses. Please confirm that your licensing authority will accept elearning programs to meet your CEU requirement.

Why do I need CEUs?
If you hold a professional license, such as electrician or engineer, your state licensing board may have an annual CEU requirement. Please check with your licensing board for details.

Will my licensing board accept these CEU's?
It depends on your licensing board's policies. Jensen Hughes Academy is an IACET-Approved Provider of CEUs. IACET is the International Association of Continuing Education and Training. IACET is the ANSI standard in continuing education and training. To become an IACET-Approved Provider, we have demonstrated through a rigorous process that it meets the highest standards of continuing education. IACET has made arrangements with many licensing boards across the country. Visit http://www.iacet.org/ceus/who-accepts-the-iacet-ceu for more information.

Before you enroll, please ask your licensing board if they accept these CEUs. Explain that you are asking about an elearning program and that the courses are offered by Jensen Hughes Academy, an IACET-Approved Provider.

What if I lose my password?
You can easily recover your password. Click the Recover My Password link on Log In form to request your information.
